Thank you, Shani and Scott. Point taken.
Two nightclubs we had in Nob Hill WERE dangerous.
We saw that when customers died by gun violence.
However, perhaps there is more nuance in the term today having to do with how they are conceived and managed.
Let’s see what we can learn about that going forward.
And, yes, focus on making Nob Hill safe for our families.
Kind regards, Gary

Thanks Gary. My concern is "we are concerned about nightclubs" that term has been frequently used as a negative connotation. As with your interview when Oak and Ivy opened, it was specifically used in a negative context. I might be in the minority about this but focusing on the safety of the area vs "nightclubs are bad" is the important issue.
Thanks for reading.

Friends and Neighbors.
The Urban Land Institute and Nob Hill Main Street are putting on this panel discussion Thursday.
https://newmexico.uli.org/events/detail/7E795A83-542D-46DA-BE3D-E2B304CBDC44/
They have invited the board of our association to participate.
We asked about opening it up to the public but they indicate it is an event for ULI and Nob Hill Main Street members.
Your board will carry the views of the neighborhood as we understand them.
-We are blessed for the commercial district walking distance to our houses.
-We like to eat and drink and we also prize retail and services; We prize businesses we can go to.
-We prize the district's sense of place, its historic character.
-We appreciate NH Main Street and we collaborate alot, like on public safety and events
-We are concerned about nightclubs. Two of the last nightclubs in Nob Hill closed after people died by gun violence. We want a safe area for our families.
If you want to have any particular view expressed please reply to all or to me.
We’ll report outcomes to you.
