After reading my post, I feel like I could have been clearer. And promise,
I'm not trying to overcomplicate things and it's not just specific to this
mtg, I feel it's worth continuing the dialogue. And promise, I won't bring
it up again.
The Google machine says a nightclub is an establishment for evening
entertainment. Often open late, it serves liquor and usually food. It
offers live music, comedy acts, a floor show, or dancing. That's at least 4
places I can think of without looking (Tractor, Smokey Note, Lobo, Oak and
Ivy) Calling Imbibe a nightclub and using the incident there in a way that
might discourage bars/restaurants from moving in, even if it's an
unintended consequence.
We're all concerned with safety and in my opinion the focus no matter the
business.
Thanks for reading
