Thanks, Shani. It's a bit of a shocker that they're not there anymore. Such a mainstay of the shopping center. But I'm glad they just moved and didn't close. At least there's that.

They moved to Old Town per the sign. So sad. I assume the Nob Hill foot traffic doesn’t make up for the high rent. My theory is that they’ve been relying more on their gift items over the years than the natural health/bulk herbs which works better in Old Town but it’s pure guesswork. I didn’t find out until I tried to stop in.

Wow! We just lost the Herb Store so this feels ominous.  Fingers crossed that they mean that the benches outside the coop  and/or Geckos.

I just called the coop. The guy I spoke with said the Nob Hill Center just changed owners. The Coop's lease is good until 2027 and beyond that he said he can't imagine it losing it's space as it's a valued pat of the community. But we shall see.

Hi neighbors,

I was surprised to learn today that Curious Toast Café is planning to take over the Co-op space in Nob Hill and partner with Scalo to create what they’re calling a “cafeteria-style environment.” It sounds more like a food court to me but likely I am out of the loop on the latest foodie trends.

This was presented by the Curious Toast owner as a done deal, but it was news to me.

Does anyone have more information?
