Hopefully more people will take advantage of the public transportation system which is currently free in Albuquerque.Nob Hill is also a walkable and very bike friendly community. Several different companies have also placed electric scooters in the area. They are very affordable to use. As a city it's becoming unsustainable to focus so heavily on cars. VanSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Boutique Marriott brand to rise at former Hiway House site. 112 Rooms 1.    I am very concerned about how guests leaving the hotel will travel north from the hotel. Carlisle between Central and Lomas is a 2 lane street that already backs up at rush hour. Washington has a similar problem and lacks a left turn bay. Guests can not turn left from the hotel due to mediums along Central. Girard between Lomas and Central is also not designed to carry heavy traffic. I'd hate to see traffic gridlock in our mostly residential neighborhoods. There are many lovely homes on all three streets. Traffic gridlock will most likely negatively affect their market value.2.    Many people that I know refuse to travel on Central due to the difficulty of making a left turn. The green turn arrows only stay on long enough for a limited number of cars to turn and sometimes the turn bay gets so full of cars that all cars needing to turn can not access the turn bay. 112 more cars will exacerbate this problem.Thank you, Susan Beard_______________________________________________Neighbors_nobhill-nm mailing listNeighbors_nobhill-nm at mailman.swcp.comhttps://mailman.swcp.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/neighbors_nobhill-nmThis Message Sent To: vaneldredge at comcast.net
