Subject: BernCo Neighborhood Grant Program
Good Morning Neighbors,
The time has come once again! Applications for the Fiscal Year 2027 Neighborhood Grant Program will be accepted starting on Monday, May 4 through 5:00 pm on Friday, June 5, 2026.
Through this program, all Bernalillo County and City of Albuquerque recognized neighborhood associations are eligible to receive funding for a variety of projects and events focused on enhancing the safety, beauty, and connectivity of our neighborhoods. Associations may apply for up to $7,500 for large projects, or $2,500 for small projects.
This year, BernCo is launching a brand-new grant management platform to make applying easier than ever. All neighborhood associations will now apply through the Neighborly portal, which will be linked to the Neighborhood Grants<https://www.bernco.gov/planning/neighborhood-coordination/neighborhood-associations/neighborhood-grants/> webpage on the morning of Monday, May 4.
Please review the attached program overview document thoroughly prior to applying for this program. All neighborhood associations selected to receive funding through the Neighborhood Grant Program will be required to attend a mandatory informational meeting in July 2026.
We look forward to another successful year as we work to build strong neighborhoods throughout Bernalillo County. Please do not hesitate to reach out should you have any questions.
Best regards,
