Hello Nob Hill Neighbors!

Do you want to get to know your neighbors?  Are you looking to plug into a positive, influential, hyper-local community?  Would you enjoy hanging out with people who are passionate about quality of life in Nob Hill?  

Yes???  Please consider joining the NHNA Board of Directors.

I first joined the NHNA Board in summer 2024, when the number of directors had dropped below 6 (the minimum required by the NHNA by-laws) and remaining board members were urgently requesting volunteers to fill open seats.  My early board meetings were a very positive experience.  Other board members were welcoming and supportive.  The issues at hand were varied and interesting.  Board meetings were amicable and efficient.  I had lots of freedom to decide when and how to engage with issues and focus areas.  

Following this rewarding start, I decided run for a full board term at the fall 2025 Annual Meeting.  You may recall that five neighbors stepped up for board service last year, and two existing members stayed on for the second year of their term.  

This group has made a great team and board meetings are as engaging and neighborly as ever.  Many of the current board members have a second year ahead of them, but new directors are needed as well.  Perhaps this is your year to step up?

The fine print:
Board members are elected at the Annual Members Meeting 
September 29, 2026, 6:30-8:30pm, Monte Vista church
The board term is two years, beginning at the Annual Members Meeting and expiring at the Annual Members Meeting two years’ hence.
The NHNA Board of Directors shall consist of 6-15 members.
The Board meets once per month, typically on the first Tuesday of each month.
