[Neighbors] Planes flying low over Nob Hill

Commercial and military aircraft will never stop flying over Nob Hill! Proximity and the distribution of runways require some flights to pass overhead. There's no specific construction right now since the airport just finished a major upgrade to the east west runway; but a new project will start pretty soon on runway 3/21 to replace lights and sensors, so that may help. Aside from military helicopters and Ospreys, the noise you're concerned about is from planes ticking off on runway 3; but most commercial flights try to avoid that because it requires a long taxi which burns a lot of gas. The flights you're seeing lately are mostly due to weather
