Friends:  Just did some shopping at Smith's, Indian School and Carlisle.  I parked next to a GMC SUV.  When I came out about 15 minutes later, store security people were at the SUV, along with the elderly lady owner and her health care assistant.  Someone had broken into the lady's  SUV.  Ripped out the door lock.  Not sure what all was taken.  This was at about 1:00 PM in broad daylight in an area of heavy traffic.  Store security said that their security cameras would not provide much identifying information.  Be aware - the crooks are not just out at at 3:00 AM anymore.  They are working 24/7.
