The roaches that I have had in my home are not the big roaches from the water lines. Rather I have been told by my pest control company Harmony Pest that they are smaller German Roaches. Yes for sure the city needs to be contacted. As well we need to take personal action as these small roaches proliferate at amazing speed.

Jim,As the weather gets warmer, some neighborhoods like ours in the older part of town we’ll see a new generation of roaches emerging from our manholes.
It is not as common for them to come all the way up into the home, so it’s not unheard of.
If you are having an issue you can request a Water Authority to come do a free roach treatment on your sewer line.
Here is the request form
Let me know if you have any issues.

Hi All:During the past two weeks or so I have suddenly experienced an onslaught of bugs - specifically small roaches - in my house. Each morning I find 5 or 6 of the critters and I am wondering what is going on? Is this just seasonal or what? Near Solano and Lomas. Anyone having the same problem? Solutions?Jim
