Free Community Safety Training Focuses on Personal Safety, Calling 911, Graffiti Reporting and Needle/Syringe Disposal
The West Central Community Development Group (WCCDG) is hosting a free, 2-hour community training on Thursday, May 30, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., WCCDG Offices, 5921 Central NW, in conjunction with the APD Southwest Area Command and Solid Waste Management. Attendees will learn about personal safety, calling 911 and reporting emergencies vs. non-emergencies, how to report graffiti, proper trash and recycling disposal, and how to safely get rid of needles and syringes.
