Get all the information on back to school registration dates and programs!
It's time to go back to school!
As summer winds down, it's time to start thinking about back to school programs and activities. Included below find important registration dates and learn about new programs!
Teen nights continue through September 27th! These events created exclusively for teens are a fun way to enjoy a Friday night. For more information on Teen Nights and to view a complete schedule, click here.
Community Centers before/ after school program registration will begin on Monday, July 29th @ 8:00 am. The registration will remain open until programs are full. Programs take place at most Community Centers and you can register online at play.cabq.gov.
Playground Recreation program registration is open for schools on an alternative schedule. Traditional school registration will open August 6th at 8:00 am. For more information, click here.
Therapeutic Recreation programs registration is now open and will continue until the program is full. For more information on the Therapeutic Recreation program, including price, click here.
Swimming Lessons
Registration for Fall swimming lessons will open on August 1st at noon. Lessons take place at indoor pools throughout the city. Lesson types range from parent-tot classes all the way through more advanced styles. For more information on dates and locations, click here.
Childhood Development Centers
The City of Albuquerque provides a safe learning environment for children age 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The Childhood Development program takes place at one of the 25 centers throughout the city. Programs are available for enrollment year round. For more information, click here.
The Department of Family and Community Services is sponsoring a school supply drive for the Cruzin' Into the School Year event. This event will help families in the Albuquerque area get a jump into the school year with proper tools needed for their children to succeed in school. Donations can be dropped off at any of the 22 Community Centers.
