So kids might see someone drinking a beer with lunch? I really don’t see the problem. I saw a lot more going to and from school in a big city.

We do have real problems of all sorts in this city. Restaurants serving beer and wine isn’t one of them.

There are several schools nearby and kids walk past their outside seating/dinning tables.
I would be ok if they only served say, after 6 pm.

I agree. We’re not talking about a bar or liquor store.

It's a small restaurant. They should be able to serve wine and beer with their food.

I may have missed something but can someone fill me in on what this is about?  My kids go to school around this area and I agree there is just too many out ports for booze in our community.

Dear Ms. Chavez: As a resident of Nob Hill, I'm concerned about yet another establishment selling alcohol. Our kids graduated from Highland High School, which seems quite close to this restaurant. I worked at UNM's Center on Alcoholism, Substance Abuse and Addictions (CASAA) for many years, and feel strongly that our young people need less exposure to alcohol. Thank you for taking my views into consideration.
