[NMCCSC] XC skiing at the Los Alamos County Golf Course

Today Sarah and I spent a couple of hours skiing the golf course. There 
was a minimum of a foot of snow with a very solid base as we skied about 
3 miles along much of the perimeter of the east side of the course.  
There were both snowshoe and ski tracks to follow.  The sunnier areas 
had a bit of a crust, the shady areas a smoother powder.  Beautiful 
rolling terrain and views following some of the Walnut Canyon Rim 
Trail.  It would be an excellent area for beginner lessons/outings.
