[NMCCSC] Red River Overnight Car trip to ski Enchanted Forest on Sat Feb 23-24, 2019

Hi everyone,

*Red River Week-end of Feb 23-24, 2019, is open to everyone in the Ski club
to join in on Class 1, 2 & 3 cross country ski tours. *
Staying the week-end at the Golden Eagle Lodge in Red River,
--(Golden Eagle Lodge & Elk Ridge lodge are next to each other. They are
run by the same family)

*The Plan*
Fri, 2/22/19,  Drive or Carpool to Red River, NM
Sat, 2/23/19, Ski Enchanted Forest: Just Desserts Event, Cost $30, does not
include rentals
                      Happy hour & Potluck at the Golden Eagle Lodge in Red
River
Sun, 2/24/19, AM cross country ski tour in National Forest, TBD, Class 1, 2
& 3
                       Drive back to Albuquerque

*Ruth Bargman-Romero and Scott Mitchell will be planning this outing
together.*
- We will be coordinating carpools
- Assist with people who book but are looking for roommates to share hotel
costs
- Enchanted forest, $20 for all day ski pass, $10 for special event- Just
desserts event
- Potluck information
- Sunday ski information

*Skiing:*
Ruth- Focus on Class 1 Skiers
Scott- Work with Class 2-3 Ski tour leaders for Sunday ski tour

*ALERT: IF PAGOSA SPRINGS BUS TRIP HAPPENS, 2/22 - 2/25, SKI TOUR LEADERS
ARE AVAILABLE TO  SKI AND ASSIST CLASS 1 BEGINNERS. It is a beautiful area
to ski.*
