I had a fantastic time on the class II outing toward South Mountain.  

Amy Mathis and I enjoyed the carpool company of Peggy.

Made friends through food. 

Got some help with Maxi Glide for the first time. And, we all needed Maxi Glide. Well, everyone except for Jim— ask him about luminaria candles; I’m pretty sure there were some converts on the trail today baptized in wax. 

I took a few fast fun downhill spills, and plowed through loads of pole plants, each never knowing whether to resist the surface or plunge two feet under.

I learn through falling— every time, each time hoping I’ll be able to get back up.
