Subject: [Sandia Nordic Ski Club] Announcing Sandia Nordic Classic and Slate Skiing Clinic, Sunday, January 26

Ready to take your cross country skiing skills to the next level?  Please
join us on Sunday, January 26th from 10 AM to Noon for Sandia Nordic's
first clinic of the season.  Jon Dellios and Karl Walczak will be providing
free instruction on classic and skate skiing techniques for skiers of all
abilities from beginner to advanced.  Jon and Karl are both highly
accomplished skiers/instructors and the feedback that we received from
their clinics last year was outstanding.  The clinic will take place on the
Service Road just below the Gravel Pit.  Participants should have their own
equipment and plan on meeting at the Ellis parking lot at 10 AM.  Classic
skiers who are interested in the nuances of kick wax selection should bring
their assortment of kick wax with them, as Jon will be prepared to provide
advice in that area.  If you are interested in attending, please send an

We will also have a hospitality table with hot apple cider and cookies set
up at the Gravel Pit on the 26th.  Come on out and learn about Sandia
Nordic's mission and our plans for the future.  Our grooming equipment will
also be on display, so bring your kiddos and get some pics of them on the
Grizzly!
