[NMCCSC] Class II and Class I outing to Valles Caldera NP in Jemez, Sat., Feb. 1

HI Dear Skiers:  Frances Varela here.  I volunteer up a Valles Caldera on a regular basis and have been forwarding the rangers all of your ski reports related to the Jemez Mountain cross country ski conditions. The staff there have found the reports very helpful and are sharing them with the many visitors who come to the Jemez Mountains to cross country ski and want to know where to go.

I just got the notice for the ski trip this coming weekend to Valles Caldera.  Unfortunately, this year due to staffing shortages at the Preserve, there are no groomed trails as you have described in your email.  Many people have skied up there, but have broken their own track and of course, there have been many snow shoers doing the same thing.
