[NMCCSC] App?

Thought for anyone contemplating this question...while the free Gaia GPS
has some pretty nice functionality, if you invest in the premium version,
you get access to many more map layers, including some really nice ones
like the NatGeo maps of National Parks, the Colorado 14ers, Colorado Trail,
etc. To my eye, way better than the typical USGS topo map. As mentioned,
you can save those to your phone for offline use in the backcountry, which
is slick.

On both the phone and desktop (great for planning) you can blend two or
more layers...having both imagery (which is great for unmarked trails,
clearings, etc) and a topo layer is very useful. My advice to anyone is
download the free version of Gaia GPS, play with it, and if you like it,
consider the premium upgrade.
