Hello Skiers,

On Saturday, Oct. 31, Ski Club and Los Amigos de Valles Caldera volunteers will remove down trees from Coyote Call Trail on the VCNP. We will be using chain saws and have several trees to remove.

The Quemazon SNOTEL site near Pajarito Ski Area reports 10 inches of new snow. We will be using snowshoes due to the expected depth of the snow. I have not heard how much snow the VCNP received.

The VCNP Covid-19 protocol requires that volunteers travel with just one person per vehicle unless the volunteers are in the same family. Also, face masks are required.

Due to the limited parking space at the Coyote Call Trailhead, I am limiting the number of vehicles to 8 so that we will not take up all the parking space.

Please let me know by 7 pm Wednesday, Oct. 28, if you are interested in working on Saturday.
