Just one thing I would like to add:  while eating without masks we should be distancing ourselves.  The precautions that were effective for the Alpha strain are not nearly so effective against the Delta strain.  Vaccinated people are still contagious (although for fewer days) and do still incur organ damage in 20% of cases regardless of how mild the infection is (still nobody knows why).

On the bright side, it took a year and a half of the whole planet being infected to create the Delta strain, so there is a decent chance (nobody can predict) that we won’t see another extremely contagious strain for another year or more.

Also, I was amazed at listening to opera signers at Santa Fe sign through masks and project really well!  I don’t know how they do that.
