[NMCCSC] Proposed Advanced Beginner clinic February 13

Skiers, 
I’m proposing that the NMCC Ski Club host an advanced beginner/intermediate classic cross- country ski clinic on Sunday, February 13. This is subject to a membership vote of approval (at our next meeting) to spend Club funds for the instructor’s fee. 
Taught by professional instructor Jon Dellios, this class will emphasize classic technique for more efficient and fun skiing. If you have already been in the club’s beginner class or have been on some class 1-2 tours and want to improve your skiing, this class is for you. 
If you’re an intermediate skier, you will also learn better technique so you can ski more efficiently, longer and farther. 

Jon is an enthusiastic instructor who teaches clinics for Sandia Nordic, Pagosa Nordic Center, the Chama Chile Classic and other venues. 

When: Sunday, February 13, 10:00 am- 12:00 noon
Please arrive 15 min. early to check in and sign waiver. 
Cost: $10
Where: Ellis trailhead. Class will be held on the Sandia Nordic groomed trails. 
Limited to 10 participants. 
We will be close together at times, covid-safe face masks required during instruction.  
Participants need to bring their own ski gear. Jon will be available for questions prior to the class date. 
Participants are asked to contribute $10 towards the cost of instruction. (in case of financial hardship, contact instruction chair.)
