[NMCCSC] Survey & Switchback Today

I skied Survey from Switchback out to Osha and back and then one loop on Switchback. I would characterize the conditions as consisting of packed powder-still soft enough that I could get an edge when needed. The trail was a bit icy on some of the exposed sections. Some rocks were visible on one of the ledges on Switchback though I was able to get around then without having to take my skis off. There were only 3 other cars when we arrived at Ellis around 9:15 and a few more when we left around 1:45. We did not see any other skiers while we were out until we returned to the service road. We did need glide wax on the section of Survey north of 10K though I did not find a need for it the rest of the time provided I did not veer off of the trail into the deep powder.
