[NMCCSC] Class 1 ski dust-off Saturday 12/9

Do you need to dust off your skis and skills? Still trying to get past the beginner stage? Not sure who to ski with? Join Dana, Vicki K and Ken B for an easy paced ski on Saturday Dec. 9.

We will do a short refresher of beginner skills (side step, step turns, snowplow, kick and glide) and then ski some combination of the service road, Rocky Point and Switchback trails depending on interest and snow conditions.
The 2 ft. snow from last weekend may have been impacted by wind and sun during the week, but we think it will be okay in the trees.

The leaders will *try* to take the first tram up at 9 am. We'll do a quick skills refresher and then ski over to Ellis, where we'll meet anyone who drives up. We'll be at Ellis by 10:30 (allowing time to refresh skills and ski over).

People wanting to carpool, please sign up on meetup and use comments to coordinate.

Last weekend there were lots of drifts with churned-up snow across the road and icy spots so it could take longer than usual to drive up.
