The pine tar came from New Moon Ski & Bike Shop llocated in Hayward, WI.  The Birkebeiner Ski Race was started in 1973 in Hayward.  Skinny Skiers from
Crested Butte:  New Moon carries SWIX jackets and tights.

Nat at REI did the pine tar base on my skis before the ski shop was closed down for the 2021/22 season.

The Chama Chile Classic Ski Race on MLK weekend has a Wood Ski 6k division.
