*Free Tele Clinic / Ski Santa Fe / Saturday / Feb 25*

*Cost* = You need to register at the link below. Free to club members.
However, you supply your own lift ticket or pass.
*Meeting place* = Bottom of the mountain, right outside of the SuperChief
quad chairlift maze, between the lift and main lodge. I will have on black
pants, an orange jacket and maybe a black helmet.
*Meeting times and duration* = 10am-noon & 1pm-3pm. Register for one or
both clinics. Strive to be on time!
*Prerequisites* = Have your own metal-edged Telemark gear. Glide wax your
skis beforehand, especially those of you with 'waxless' skis. You need some
type of ski retention device [strap/clip]. Be comfortable with chairlift
loading and unloading. Feel free to wear a helmet, kneepads or any other
gear to enjoy your day on the mountain.
*Curriculum* = I hope to introduce various techniques to help improve your
Telemark technique. Turning with Tele gear is inherently more challenging
than with alpine or snowboard gear. The tradeoff that Tele makes for
freedom & flexibiity results in a loss in power/control. However, that does
not mean a loss of enjoyment or fun! If it was easy, it wouldn't be worth
doing, right?
The *AM session* will target lower level skills and the *PM session* will
ramp things up a bit. However, I try to target each student with skills
appropriate for their level.
*Questions?* Feel free to shoot me a DM or email.

*Apology: I apologize for unintentionally conflicting with the awesome
Telebration weekend at Los Alamos. Life and other scheduling conflicts
pretty much forced my hand. If I don't see you at Santa Fe, then you should
be at LA instead.*
