[NMCCSC] Sandia crest update?

I went snowshoeing from Ellis yesterday, did Switchback to the Crest.  I
was nervous about bringing skis.  The Crest road is clear.  The service
road is plowed, no skiing there.  The lower switchback trail was kind of
choppy and packed, but as I got higher it was nice and ski-able, wished I’d
brought my skis!  I even met a XC skier.  Snow was sticky by mid-morning .
  It did get very warm up there and by mid-afternoon the snow was getting
mushy.
