Sandia ski report Friday 2/2/24.
High Noon. Snowing.
Crest Road: above Capulin-snow packed. 2-4” snow depending on elevation and drifts. Not plowed. Some slick spots. Drifts are 4-5”.
(Capulin parking plowed).

Crest road Below Capulin- snow packed, 1-3” new snow; sometimes the road surface is visible. Slushy. Toward the bottom is just wet. Mile 3-4 maybe.

10K parking & Ellis—-Not plowed. New snow- 3” or so.
Skiing: windy. 15 mph-ish in some places and gusty. Rocky Point well protected as are parts of the service road. Klaus in great shape but no track remains Neutral lighting.
The skiing doesn’t get much better. Skiing from Ellis down to 10K is prime!!!!
Bundle up. It’s nippy. Around 32°.
