I’m headed for a knee replacement so I probably will not be skiing this season, nonetheless, I love the emails because they demonstrate the enchanting passion members have for skiing and fulfilling the ambitions of the club.

I’m fine with getting reports via email until FB can be restored. It’s so easy to glance at it and then decide whether to read further or delete.
Thanks
Ralph

Was there a final decision last year about using Facebook for conditions reports instead of email? I think a decision was made but then a bunch of people, myself included, voiced strong support for continuing to post conditions on email.

I hope this isn’t considered to be spamming! It’s exactly the kind of info we all can all use!

I’s say there was an average of 9-14 inches depending on location and drifts. I shoveled out a spot for my car and began my ski in this magnificent winter wonderland that I had all to myself. The snow was heavy, but that made for good packing snow instead of a dry snow that lets you sink right down to the ground. I brought my “rock skis” because I didn’t expect much. I was incredibly surprised and happy with my experience. It snowed the entire time I was out. There was maybe only 1 other person who broke trail before me along Ponderosa, but the trail ended so I turned around and hooked up with Mahogany. There wasn’t much glide but hey-oh, early November deep snow!!! I turned around when I felt some rocks on the trail and was feeling fatigue from constant trail busting.
