Several of us took the first tram this morning for our first ski of the season. We started out on gravel pit but turned around after a short distance as there appeared to be to many exposed rocks. We then headed over to rocky point where the conditions were much better. After getting to Ellis, we headed over to survey and skied it out to the 10k junction. When we crossed the road going out it had not been plowed but it had been by the time we returned. The conditions on survey were better than expected though you will need to watch for the rocks on the ledges. The consensus was that there was about 5.5 inches of new snow from the storm last night.
