The club's long serving treasurer, that is me, is stepping down at the end
of this year and unless someone steps forward to help the club by assuming
this responsibility there will be no more financial statements generated or
sent out and the club's bills, including its car trip, hut trip and yurt
trip bills, will not be paid. Yikes!

You do not have to be a CPA to do this job, I am not.  Experience with
accounting, bookkeeping, QuickBooks, or managing your own business or just
an interest in just keeping track of stuff plus an interest in helping the
club is all that is required.  And I will be available through the end of
the year to help with the transition.

The club simply has to have a treasurer to do what it does. It is not a hard
job and you get to work with the other great board members who provide
speakers, refreshments, instructions and ski trips for the club's members.
