[NMCCSC] Upcoming Board vacancies March 2026

Greetings Everyone:

As Thanksgiving approaches, we all have this time to be thankful for what we have including the friends we ski with every year. NM Cross Country Ski Club and the Sandia Nordic Ski Club have been great resources for ski trips, learning opportunities, wonderful groomed trails in the Sandias as well as the maintained trails in the Jemez Mountains thanks to Michael and Sam.

Effective March 2026, the NMCCSC will be losing Max Shepherd, Treasurer, and Peter Marks, Programs. They have both given their notice to vacate their Board positions effective March 2026.  Max has been the club treasurer for 11 years and Peter has held several Board positions over the years.

In order for the club to run effectively, these positions must be filled.  Max is willing to teach and mentor the new treasurer.  Peter has created a nice history of speakers while he has been in charge of Programs.  I'm sure he will make himself available to coach on the Programs position.

Please consider volunteering for one of these positions which are both vital to the NM Cross Country Ski Club.  Contact myself or any of the other Board members which can be found on the website. Scroll over to About, then click on Current Board.
