"Yes, it was a disappointing snow year and the club’s finances reflect that fact."
BUT, ON THE BRIGHT SIDE, HERE'S THIS FROM THE NOAA AS REPORTED BY THE WEATHER CHANNEL:  THERE IS A GREATER THAN 80% CHANCE OF A RARE SUPER EL NIÑO THIS YEAR.  IMPACTS TO HURRICANE SEASON AND WINTER ARE EXPECTED.   The article goes on to explain that the coming El Niño is on track to be the strongest on record.  Generally speaking, El Niño brings great snowfall to our part of the world.  For those of us who have had injuries and / or surgeries in recent seasons, the timing couldn't be better.   Let's all hope !!!!
Speaking of hope, we have a second hut trip scheduled for February.  This one is ideal for beginners.  Stay tuned for details.
