Frustrating. Is it a reflection of the hard economic times generally experienced in New Mexico? I was sorry the state chose not to maintain NM 64 (btwn Tres Piedras and Tierra Amarilla) last winter, effectively closing access to the Brazos cliffs backountry.

The sun, it going down

I have not been able to verify on NMDOT website, but have been told that Hwy 4 is closed from San Ysidro to mile marker 44.  They will not plow until 550 is cleared.  We have lived in La Cueva for 19 years and this is the first time we have ever known Hwy 4 to be closed.  Louise
