The yurt group switched their trip by one day, leaving tomorrow morning (Saturday) and returning Monday.

Still only 3 going so there is potentially space for an experienced backcountry skier. Expect breaking trail for 5 hours in very deep snow. The attached pictures are of Trujillo Meadows in 2008, but from what I hear conditions are similar this year.

Subject: 1 person join Grouse Creek Yurt this weekend

Please let me know if you'd like to join the Grouse Creek Yurt trip this weekend. One person had to cancel after a ski injury this weekend. I'll give preference to those who told me before that they wanted to go but I told them it was full, but if none of them want the spot it is open to anyone in the club. The plan was to leave early Friday morning and return Sunday afternoon. Shared meals except for trail lunch so there isn't a lot of planning and shopping you would need to do. There is already one driver, but they would like a second.

The three other people that are going are Angela Welford, David Saylors, and Penina Ballen. I'm helping organize but I'm not actually going to the yurt this time (heading to Red River Enchanted Forest instead).
