I understand that the climate change issue is of great concern to many people, but neither the newsletter nor the club's programs should be devoted to the issue. It is not consistent with the objectives of the club. https://nmccskiclub.org/about-us/  . It could endanger our legal status and is not consistent with our charter as a recreational organization.  

The following statement in the latest newsletter in current political environment is clearly a one party political advocacy:  "And what are we going to do about it? Running and hiding isn’t an option, so let’s talk about what we can do on personal, community, regional and global levels. We’ll discuss specific climate related issues that face us here in New Mexico as well as problems that all of humanity will face. Presentation will focus on a range of solutions, as well as enough information to enable and motivate you in to acting on them!"
