My understanding is that area received at least 3 inches of new snow yesterday on the lower section (8400 feet) & possibly up to 5 inches higher (9400 feet) and is north facing so snow stays good longer.

I am familiar with the trails there but haven't been for past 2 or 3 years and have never led it.  I have Sam's book showing the trails & there are blue diamond markers on trees.  I think we'll do fine but if anyone wants to come to come along who knows it well, I would welcome that!

I'll estimate that we will ski approx. 6 miles in total, with 1000 ft. elevation gain or less.  It is not a beginner level ski area but recommended for experienced skiers as it is all uphill and then a long steeper downhill as I recall.

If you have KICKER SKINS which might assist, if needed, on either the uphill or downhill, please bring them.  It should be a warmer day (predicted high - 48 & sunny) so bring layers to wear and MAXI-GLIDE if snow gets sticky later.
And of course, don't forget your water, snacks, lunch and gas money for drivers (approx. $12-$14 based on miles).

MEET:  Target on Paseo, west side of parking lot near where bus meets for ski trips (I have a silver Honda Civic)

TIME:  8:00 AM

Either email or text me (450-9961) if questions and to let me know if you are coming.

Thanks,
Terri Elisberg
