I was talking with the folks who groom the Sandia ski area and they would very much appreciate it if those of us who like to earn-our-turns would allow the groomed slopes to set up before we ski down. This takes a couple of hours after they are groomed, so it may not always be feasible, in which case sticking to the sides of the runs would be appreciated. They would especially like to keep the beginner run untrammeled. The population of folks who like to ski up, then down has really grown, and the maintenance teams wanted to get the word out so they can do their jobs well with the resources they have.
