Kevin and I are in Pagosa this weekend. Spring ski conditions! Today we started out on Lobo overlook trail. We dutifully herringboned up crusty/ icy conditions before we decided we really didn’t want to ski the more than mile or so uphill and come down without skins. For those of you coming next week, nothing that skins or a little fresh powder couldn’t fix!

Then we switched to snowshoes and dropped down to Falls Creek trail ( and yes, we stayed out of the ski tracks). We found those conditions quite lovely and will probably return tomorrow to ski it! Will keep you posted. I will put pictures on our FB page.
