Brazos overlook on Saturday, March 7. I've posted this as a Sierra
Club outing for our Santa Fe group. I'll paste in my description and
also the web link. Its a long drive, a long day, but if you would
like to join us, let me know.

Moderate level cross-country ski outing
to a gorgeous destination: the dramatic Brazos Cliffs lookout.
This is a 6-7 mile round-trip tour off-trail, over rolling terrain
with about 650 feet of elevation gain. You need to be able to ski
downhill sections and do some short climbs. You won't need
climbing skins, but skis with a climbing pattern that works for
you or the appropriate climbing wax. We have a hill or two to
climb by traversing or herring bone. Bring enough drink and food
for the day. The duration of our day will depend on the snow
conditions too. Elevation for our outing is around 10,000 ft.
This is a 110 mile drive each way, so a
long day.
The Sierra Club encourages carpooling
and suggests a driver reimbursement rate that would total about
$15/rider for this one.
