≈≈≈≈ANNOUNCEMENT #1 Phil Kutner has died
A long story. it starts with my Father taking two consecutive busses (Perhaps 15 -20 years ago) for a medical appointment.  On the way back (2 more busses) the first bus had to slam on its brakes to avoid an accident somewhere near San Mateo, California.  My father ended up lying down in the aisle of the bus, and he found himself lying face to face on top of another man.  The stranger on the bottom looked up and said “ Are you Bobby Fisher’s Father?”  So my parents, my brother David, and I have had good visits since with the Kutners.  

It is now extra sad for me to discover a few days ago that Mr. Kutner had died about 1.5 years ago.   If I can find a good personal address for condolences, I will send it along in a future e-mailing.
