≈≈≈ANNOUNCEMENT #1 An open letter to the class of 1961 from the son of Don Ketcham ≈≈≈≈

Hi, I am the (youngest) son of Donald B. Ketcham (Class of 1961 River Dell).  Just wanted to let you know my father passed away on November 12th, 2019.  He suffered a stroke in early July and fought extremely hard to gain his mobility/life back, but then suffered another significant stroke in late-October.   He died peacefully in his sleep the morning of 11/12…the day after his 76th birthday.  What further can I say…he was a GREAT man.  He was the CEO of a telecommunications consulting company for nearly 35 years.  He had four kids…1 daughter (born 1970), and three sons (born 1972, 1974, 1980).  He and his wife separated but remarried to his soulmate named Joan.  I’m now going through a lot of his school records for the first time, and it’s amazing.  I never knew him as an actor, but he played in the school play (South Pacific) as Lt. Buzz Adams.  He also played sports and did some choir.  My dad was a great man and I know he’s at peace. Anyway…I found this email address in his email, so I know he was following along with this great graduate class.  Thank you all and may God bless each of you!  Sincerely,  Brad Ketcham (bsketcham@gmail.com)
