February 9th Ragtime Piano Player Fund Raiser Success:
The February 9th WHEELS fundraiser featuring a performance by the only four time ragtime piano champion in the world, Adam Swanson was a huge success.
We had an SRO crowd, and were sad that we had to turn so many away.
Next year, Adam Swanson plans to return for another fund-raiser, and we hope you will be able to enjoy yet another Sunday afternoon of fun with music.
For those of you who wish to see some of the videos taken, here’s a link to a short playlist on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMDcPNDKkgM&list=PL8KObtAxmmED3lCry5H9V73K4yKGK9rK1 <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMDcPNDKkgM&list=PL8KObtAxmmED3lCry5H9V73K4yKGK9rK1>
Mr. Swanson is also the subject of an Amazon documentary film, “The Entertainers.” This is a free movie for Prime members, and quite enjoyable.
A very well-deserved and special thank you goes to Judy Muldawer for organizing the event.
