TITLE: Smokey's Legacy - 75th Birthday

ABSTRACT DESCRIPTION: This will be an informative and entertaining hour by
Forest Service Retired Leaders who have first-hand knowledge about how
Smokey's Legacy started and has been shaped since the mid-1940"s.  We will
learn little known, behind the scenes true stories about how Smokey became
a national icon, his popularity, and service to fire prevention during his
real life and after his burial in Capitan, New Mexico, and continuing with
the Smokey Bear Balloon.

PRESENTERS: LARRY ALLEN & ABEL CAMARENA, Retired Forest Service leaders and
active volunteers.
