Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, Jerry Carroll, Eric Russell, and Sam Beard cut brush in the Capulin Snow Play Area traffic island so that SRD personnel will be able to push snow into it when they plow the parking lot. Due to the heavy snow fall last winter, the locust brush was very dense and over eight feet tall in places. It is very important to cut this brush every year so that the new growth is small enough to be cut with power brush cutters. The first year that we cut here, the locust plants were so large that we had to use chain saws, and we worked two or three days to complete the task.

Photos of the project are presented in the attached Word document.
