Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, August 26, ten FOSM volunteers working in two teams of 5 people each felled a total of 10 hazard trees at Ellis Trailhead, the Crest parking area, and Tree Spring Trailhead.

1. Ellis Trailhead – Felled three trees with diameters of 8 inches to 20 inches. We did not fell Tree ELS20003 due to concern that it could possibly hit the powerlines.
2. Crest Area across the highway from the North Crest Trailhead – Felled five trees with diameters of 8 inches to 17 inches.
3. Tree Spring Trailhead – Felled two trees with diameters of 12 inches each.

The volunteers were Byron Garner. Bill Savage, Jerry Pekarek, Lou Romero, Sam Beard, Jerry Carroll, Cliff Giles, Eric Russell, Sim Cook, and Dennis Crowther.

Photos are presented in the attached Word document.
