I hiked Birdhouse Ridge Tr to West Ridge Tr and returned on Tunnel Canyon Tr and found two trees down on or across the trail. The first, an 11" dead pinion with root ball is about 200 yards north of the West Ridge and Tunnel Canyon Trail junction. It is lying on and parallel the trail tread with a walk around. The second, a 8" twin trunk dead pinion step-over is about 100 yds before the trail takes a westward turn and descends into Tunnel Canyon.   Birdhouse Ridge Tr and West Ridge Tr were clear. I removed a few large boulders and a small rock slide from Tunnel Canyon Trail. See pic's.
Trail condition report:
The day started sunny, 54 deg, but breezy, cloudy in the afternoon with high wind gusts and dropping temperatures. The trail conditions were dry at low elevations, but muddy on the ridge with some areas snow packed, slippery going on Birdhouse and upper sections of Tunnel Canyon along the east facing slopes with melting snow, poles highly recommended.
