[Volunteers_fosm] MONTHLY FOSM MEETINGS CANCELLED

Hello Everyone:

Everyone is no doubt aware of the current rash of closures, postponements and cancellations of many venues and events as a result of the current virus outbreak. Some of these actions are the result of government edicts. Opinions may vary as to the necessity of such actions, but never-the-less, they are widespread.

It is the decision of the Officers and Board of Directors of the Friends of the Sandia Mountains that due to the possible health risk to those attending our monthly meetings that these meetings be cancelled until further notice. These meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of the months of April through October at 7:00 pm at the Sandia Ranger Station. This was not an easy decision, but given the possible severity of such an outbreak, cancellation is both wise and prudent.

The usual monthly meeting schedule will be resumed when it is deemed appropriate to do so.

You may receive this notice twice as it is being sent out to both our email groups so be sure no one misses it.
