Hello Everyone,
On Wednesday, April 7, eight volunteers continued thinning the pinon/juniper forest on FR-242 as part of the Cedro CFRP.
The group thinned only about one-half acre, because the pinon and juniper trees were in Gambel oak thickets. The pinons and junipers were intertwined with the oaks, and separating the trees was very time consuming and difficult.
The volunteers were Cliff Giles, Sim Cook, Lou Romero, Jerry Carroll, Dennis Crowther, Steve Roholt, Don Carnicom and Sam Beard.
Project photos are presented in the attached Word document.
