[Volunteers_fosm] Fence Maintenance in Cienega Picnic Area, Wed., Aug. 4

Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, Aug. 4, FOSM volunteers will be replacing broken and rotten fence posts in Cienega Canyon Picnic Area. We will begin replacing broken posts in the picnic area across the road from the parking lot at the first restroom.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station to collect equipment and pressure treated posts.

Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, and sturdy boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring a jacket in the event we have a shower. Bring lunch, snacks, eye and ear protection, drinks, work gloves, and a hard hat.

Also, bring carpentry tools and tools to remove threaded rods and drill holes in posts and poles.
