Notice of Filming Activity on the
Sandia Ranger District – Doc Long Picnic Area
August 18th & 19th

Albuquerque, NM – August 16, 2021 - Sandia Ranger District - On August 18th and 19th from 7 am to 10 pm a permitted filming activity will occur at the Doc Long Picnic Area and on State Highway 536. Visitors to the Doc Long Picnic Area should be prepared for temporary delays and interruptions to access during the filming activity. The area is not closed; however, some areas may not be 100% accessible throughout the day. Visitors may also experience delays on State Highway 536 just past Doc Long Picnic Area while filming is occurring.
